There are types of the ICT latest applications.

·         Instant messaging (YM, Gmail)

·         Twittering (Microblogging)

·         Geobrowsing (Waze, Four square)

·         Massage boards (Sharing experiences)

Social Networking

Social networking is the practice of expanding the number of one's business and/or social contacts by making connections through individuals. Any sites that creates a community of individuals who can communicate with each other used of computer or mobile phones.

Reason why people using social netwoking?
1. To stay in touch with what friends are doing
2. To stay up-to-date with news and current events
3. To fill up spare time
4. To find funny or entertaining content
5. To share opinions
6. To share photos or videos with others
7. Because friends are already on them
8. General networking with other people
9. To meet new people
10. To share details of our everyday life

Online Shopping and Investing

The act of purchasing products or services over the Internet. Online shopping has grown in popularity over the years, mainly because people find it convenient and easy to bargain shop from the comfort of their home or office. One of the most enticing factor about online shopping, particularly during a holiday season, is it alleviates the need to wait in long lines or search from store to store for a particular item.

This week I 've learned about Internet applications. There are different types of internet applications and it is classified into several types. Examples of apps that I have learned is online telecommunications, social netwoking, online shopping and investing, online entertainment, online news, and online education and writing. This week I have been given a task to select one application for learning purposes, and I have chosen the application facetime as a medium for teaching and learning. lastly, of this class I can distinguish each class of applications that are used every day.
